Karthi getting Rs 14 crore remuneration?

Karthi seems to have reached a feat which his brother Surya took more than 10 years to achieve. The actor, who made his debut in Paruthiveeran, has been offered a whopping price, which has surprised the industry, to act in a forthcoming bilingual movie.

A leading daily reports that Karthi has been approached by a producer to act in a bilingual movie. He has offered the actor Rs 14 crore to star in the movie. The news has surprised many, as it will be the highest paycheque to be offered for a young star of a six-film old.

It is said that Karthi, whose most movies are produced by his cousin KE Gnanavelraja, has been getting around Rs 8-9 crores, but the latest offer has registered his name in the A-list actors, who get above 10 crore per film.

Meanwhile, Karthi is busy with a series of films like Alex Pandian, All in All Azhagu Raja and Biriyani.
