If reports are to be believed, Ajith Kumar, whose recent movie Billa 2 is doing good business at the Box Office, reportedly watched SS Rajamouli's socio-fantasy movie Naan Ee and was impressed by the making. The actor has also praised the filmmaker for his wonderful film and also he said good words about Sudeep, whose performance has been praised to heavens by the critics.
The other big names to praise the movie are: Mahesh Babu, Karthi, Ram Gopal Varma, Ravichandran, Prakash Raj, Lingusamy, Puri Jagannath, Dhanush, Siddharth, Venkatesh, VV Vinayak, Dasari Narayana Rao, Chiranjeevi, Rana Daggubati and others.

According to the traders, Billa 2 has earned around Rs 19 crore nett in the first weekend in Tamil Nadu. The movie, which was released on July 13, ran into packed houses in most of the theatres in Tamil Nadu. On an average, the occupancy at cinema halls for the movie was 95% in single screens as well as multiplexes.
As far as the international Box Office is concerned, the movie has collected approximately Rs 30.69 lakhs (UK£35,930) nett at the UK Box Office on the first day and on Saturday, it raked in approximately 17.61 lakhs (£20,620).
At Australian Box Office, it has collected approximately 13.72 lakhs (A$24,469) and 8.90 lakhs (A$15,874) on Friday and Saturday, respectively. At the US, Billa 2 grossed 35.10 lakhs and 22.09 lakhs approximately on Friday and Saturday at reported screens and the figure might be bigger when the complete report is out.
Billa 2 records 5 lakh hits in 2 days
The Ajith Kumar's trailer recorded five lakh views in just 48 hours and it is said to be the highest ever views recorded for any trailer of a Thala film in two days. As of now, the clipping has been viewed 552,399 on Youtube. The buzz is that the trailer has driven the actor's fans crazy and they are watching it over and over again. The link is also being shared through social networking websites and e-mails.
The latest trailer gives hint about David Billa's transformation from an ordinary man to underworld kingpin. It also shows Ajith Kumar mouthing some punch dialogues and doing some hair-rising action sequences. Meenakshi Dixit, Vidyut Jamal and others are also seen in the trailer.
However, the trailer, which was released on Monday (June 2) around 7 pm after the plans of launching it through a function went for a toss, received over 3.5 lakh hits in less than 24 hours.

Billa 2 trailer launch function cancelled!
Rumour mills are abuzz with the news that the disagreement over a financial deal between the producers and distributors have lead the movie bosses to cancel the event. However, now, it is said that the trailer will be directly released on a video-sharing site on internet by today evening. Nonetheless, there is not any official statement by the makers of the film.
On the other end, the movie bosses are planning to start the Billa 2 promotions from tomorrow. The Ajith Kumar, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah starrer movie will release worldwide on July 13 in multiple languages.
Directed by Chakri Toleti, Billa 2 is produced by Suresh Balaje, George Pius and Sunir Khetrapal. It is a prequel to Billa, which was directed by Vishnuvardhan.
Suman Ranganathan's latest entry to Ajith-Vishnuvardhan's film
The actress has confirmed to a leading daily that she has been roped in for Ajith Kumar's next film. Suman Ranganathan will be seen essaying the role of a tough journalist and she believes that the character is tailor-made for her comeback to Tamil films.
Suman Ranganathan further explains that she received the call from the makers of the film when she was on a vacation to Bali. The director narrated the story in short over phone for which she gave nod without a second thought. The actress even participated in the shoots that was held in Bangalore recently.
With her entry, the forthcoming untitled Tamil film has become bigger and better. The ensemble cast also comprises Nayantara, Arya, Tapasee, Mahesh Manjrekar and Atul Kulkarni.
Billa 2 ready to release in 1200+ screens
Suni Kheterpal, CEO - IN Entertainment said, "Billa 2 will release in 1200+ screens worldwide on July 13, 2012. We started principal photography of the film with a formal ceremony at Ramoji Film city in Hyderabad on July 14, 2011. It will be exactly a year later that the audiences shall get to see the film in theatres. There is a grand first look function being planned in Chennai on July 1/July 2. This will kick-start the visual promotions of the film across media platforms."
Billa 2 is being readied for a wide simultaneous release in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala along with North India and International markets. The Telugu dubbed version will be released as David Billa. Both Tamil and Telugu versions will be released in Karnataka. The film is also being released with subtitles in France, Malaysia and Arabia.
The gangster-thriller film stars sensational Ajith, dazzling waku doki Parvathy Omanakuttan and glamorous Bruna Abdullah. It is a sequel to Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan. The movie tells the story of the baddie David Billa, who was killed in the first installment.
