The stage is set for the audio launch function of Maatraan starring Surya and Kajal Aggarwal. After Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Endhiran, the album of KV Anand directorial movie is ready to release in a foreign country, as it will be officially launched in Singapore on August 9.

Now, we have managed to get our hands on the invitation card of the Maatraan audio launch. The card featuring Surya in two avatars has been revealed by director KV Anand. On 9th August, it will be released at Hall No. 1, Singapore Expo, around 6.30 PM by Surya.

Trisha-Tamanna to perform at Surya's Maatraan audio launch

The makers of Maatraan seem to be leaving no stone unturned to make the audio launch of the film a talk of the town. They are doing their best to add glitz and glamour to the music release function. They are trying to rope some of the top South actresses, who have paired up with Surya in his earlier films, to perform at the event.

If reports are to be believed, Trisha Krishnan, Tamanna Bhatia, Asin Thottumkal, Sameera Reddy, Divya Spanadana aka Ramya, and Shruti Hassan have approached to perform at the Maatraan audio launch event. But it is not sure who else will be present to add glamour at the event. Adding to that Kajal Aggarwal, Isha Sharvani and two Russians girls named Irina and Julia, who have worked in Maatraan, will be gracing the function along with other cast and crew.

It is also said that music director Harris Jayaraj will treat the guests by composing 12 tracks of his hit movies. The audio of Maatraan will be launched on August 9 in Singapore.

Surya's Singam 2 to get bigger and better

Surya's Singam 2 will be much bigger and better than its first instalment. Director Hari, who is giving final touches to the script, has decided to shoot some of the action sequences in South Africa with international stunt team choreographing the scenes.

The buzz is that the climax and some key scenes of Singam 2 will be shot in South Africa, as the locations play an important role in the story. Hari reportedly wants to give a realistic approach to the film and has decided to rope in a South African actor to play one of the role of baddies in the upcoming movie.

However, an audition to select the actor for the villain's role will be soon held in South Africa. Other details about their plans are still under wraps.

Singam 2 stars Surya, Anushka Shetty, Hansika Motwani, Santhanam, Mukesh Rishi, Radha Ravi and others in the cast. It is produced by Gnanavel Raja.

Surya's Maatraan audio hitting stores this month

The much-awaited album of Surya's Maatraan will be hitting the stores by this month end. Currently, the final fixing of the songs are in progress and it is likely to release on July 23 in a grand manner.

Harris Jayaraj, the music director of the film, has confirmed the news on Twitter. He wrote, "Final mixing for the songs of Maatraan on process... Album will be out by this month." The movie has six songs for which Madan Karky and others have penned the lyrics.

A few weeks ago, Eros International, which had acquired the distribution rights of Maatraan in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka regions, sold the music rights to Sony Music. It is believed that the audio rights have been acquired by the music company for a fancy price.

Maatraan directed by KV Anand is a high-voltage action film starring Surya and Kajal Aggarwal. The movie is expected to release on August 15.

Anbuselvan (Surya) and three of his colleagues are young and honest police officers, engaged in fighting organized crime syndicate in Chennai. A no-nonsense toughie, Anbuselvan is completely devoted to his job and cares little about his personal life.
