Jeeva's movies to be boycotted

As Jeeva is gearing up for his biggest movie - Mugamoodi, there comes trouble in his way. Well, the nightmares of his earlier flop movies seem to have emerged, which could create unnecessary controversy. The buzz is that a section of exhibitors have decided to boycott his movies, as his father has not paid the dues for some theatre owners in Tamil Nadu.

Reports say that Jeeva's father and producer RB Choudary's recent movies like Ragalai, the dubbed version of Ram Charan Teja's Racha, and Rowthiram starring his son and Shriya Saran did not live up to the expectations. As a result, the producer had promised some exhibitors of paying about Rs 65 lakhs but have not kept his word till date.

Now, they have decided to boycott his son Jeeva's movies, thereby expressing their anguish on the producer. The actor's next release is Mugamoodi followed by Gautham Menon's Neethaane En Ponvasantham. However, RB Choudary has rubbished the reports and said that he has not promised anybody of paying Rs 65 lakhs.

Neethaane En Ponvasantham first teaser to release on July 22

Yuvan Shankar Raja crooned and his father Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja composed 'Saindhu saindhu...' track from Neethaane En Ponvasantham generated a good hype after Raja spoke about the song on Twitter. Understanding that the audience are curious to get a glimpse of the number, the makers of the movie have decided to release a teaser of the song on July 22.

A source close to the production house said, "The most awaited music album of 2012 is gearing up for release in August. Neethaane En Ponvasantham which brings together Gautham Vasudev Menon and Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has already created a huge buzz with respect to what this combination has created for audiences worldwide."

"And just to tease our audiences a little more, the makers of the film have decided to launch a visual teaser of 'Saindhu saindhu...' song popularised by Yuvan shankar raja with his tweets on how he considered himself lucky to have sung it. This teaser will be online this Sunday (July 22)."

Talking about the song, Yuvan has recently tweeted, "I was speechless when I heard the final version. OMG its pure music that is what I call it. Thanks to Gautam for making me sing the song." This will be the first song visuals from the movie being released apart from the first teaser released on Valentine's day.

Neethaane En Ponvasantham stars Jeeva in the Tamil version, Nani in Telugu, whereas Aditya Roy Kapoor will feature in the Hindi version. Samantha is playing the female lead in all three instalments.

Mugamoodi is an upcoming Tamil superhero film, written and directed by Myshkin that stars Jiiva, Pooja Hegde and Narain in lead roles. 


Mugamoodi is expected to release by August 31st, 2012.

The film is about a man who cannot tolerate injustice and corruption and fights against it for a better society.

Vijay to release Mugamoodi audio

The audio launch of Mysskin’s fantasy thriller, Mugamoodi starring Jiiva in the lead will be released on 20th July. The news is that, actor Vijay will be releasing it in a grand event. UTV Motion Pictures is producing the film. Dhananjayan Govind of UTV  has tweeted, “Mugamoodi audio launch happening on 20th July. Actor Vijay is releasing the audio.”

The event will be held at Sathyam cinemas at 9 am. According to UTV, 500 people will get an opportunity to participate in the mega event and the contest will be announced soon.

Pooja Hedge, Narain, Akkineni Nageshwaraa Rao, Prakash Raj, Nassar and Anupama Kumar play important roles in the film.
