Vikram's Thaandavam trailer surprisingly releasing tomorrow

Here is a surprising news for all those Chiyaan Vikram's fans. Well, the first trailer of Thaandavam is all set to release in Chennai tomorrow (July 31) and the sudden announcement from the UTV bosses have made the audience to wait for the video clipping on their toes, as the posters of the film have generated a huge hype.

Dhananjayan Govind, the head of UTV South, has made an announcement on Twitter. He wrote, "Here is the surprise: Thaandavam trailer launch is tomorrow." But unlike the other UTV functions of the recent times where the production house hold competitions and invited the winners for events, this time it is restricting the event to the media and trade partners.

"The Thaandavam trailer launch is exclusively for the media & trade partners. Hence, unable to invite Twitter friends. We do not want Twitter friends landing up at the venue & not getting the seats. Hence, unable to give the details of the venue & time."

The entire team of Thaandavam including Vikram, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, director AL Vijay will be present at the trailer launch event. Meanwhile, the makers of the film are planning to launch the audio of Thaandavam in a grand manner on August 15. The movie will hit the screens in September 2012.

VIkram Thaandavam audio release on August 15th

The much awaited Vikram flick 'Thaandavam' will have it's audio release by August 15th. The film is directed by AL Vijay and the music of Thaandavam has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar. 'Thaandavam' will have Anoushka Sharma and Amy Jackson as the female leads.

Thaandavam has 6 tracks and they are the following

1. "Oru paadhi kadhavu neeyadi" - Haricharan, Vandhana
2. "Yaaradi mohini" - Rahul Nambiar
3. "Mayyal kuyyal" - G. V. Prakash Kumar, Chinnaponnu, Velmurugan

Shankar's I: First look - Posters

Shankar has kick-started his next movie I in Chennai on Sunday (July 15) at a low-key ceremony held at a studio. The director has also launched the first look of the forthcoming movie starring Vikram.

The poster of I indicates that it is a romantic-thriller, as told by Shankar earlier. In the first look, we can see Vikram carrying his girlfriend on his shoulder and the red background makes us believe that it could be a violent love story. About the title of the movie, the director had earlier said, "I means beauty, king, guru, astonishment, vulnerability (softness/gentleness) etc."

Meanwhile, Shankar has reportedly roped in Amy Jackson to play the female lead after Samantha opted out of the movie citing date issues. It also features Santhanam, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, Ramkumar (Nadigar Thilakam Sivaji Ganesan's eldest son) and others in the cast.

The technical crew comprises of Oscar Award winner AR Rahman, cinematographer PC Sriram, costume designer of Men in Black series Mary Vogt, stunt directors Peter Ming of China and Anal Arasu, art director Muthuraj and editor Anthony.

Deiva Thirumagal is a 2011 Tamil drama film written and directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Mohan Natarajan that features Vikram in the lead role as a mentally challenged adult with the maturity of a six-year-old boy, while Baby Sarah, Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul and Nassar portray other pivotal roles. The film comprises director Vijay's 'regular' technical crew with G. V. Prakash Kumar as music composer, Nirav Shah as cinematographer and Anthony as editor. The film has its basic plot and lead character inspired from the 2001 American film I am Sam written and directed by Jessie Nelson, and starring Sean Penn as a father with a developmental disability. The film released on 15 July 2011 along with a dubbed version in Telugu, Nanna, to critical acclaim and box office success.
