Vikram's Thaandavam trailer surprisingly releasing tomorrow

Here is a surprising news for all those Chiyaan Vikram's fans. Well, the first trailer of Thaandavam is all set to release in Chennai tomorrow (July 31) and the sudden announcement from the UTV bosses have made the audience to wait for the video clipping on their toes, as the posters of the film have generated a huge hype.

Dhananjayan Govind, the head of UTV South, has made an announcement on Twitter. He wrote, "Here is the surprise: Thaandavam trailer launch is tomorrow." But unlike the other UTV functions of the recent times where the production house hold competitions and invited the winners for events, this time it is restricting the event to the media and trade partners.

"The Thaandavam trailer launch is exclusively for the media & trade partners. Hence, unable to invite Twitter friends. We do not want Twitter friends landing up at the venue & not getting the seats. Hence, unable to give the details of the venue & time."

The entire team of Thaandavam including Vikram, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, director AL Vijay will be present at the trailer launch event. Meanwhile, the makers of the film are planning to launch the audio of Thaandavam in a grand manner on August 15. The movie will hit the screens in September 2012.

Billa 2 new trailer: Ajith Kumar's truly blazing!

Despite disappointing the Ajith Kumar fans by cancelling the trailer launch function of Billa 2, which was supposed to be held on Monday evening, the makers of the film have managed to keep their other promise! Well, they have released the latest teaser of the film on video-sharing site, YouTube yesterday (July 2). With the new clipping being released on net, the hype has been doubled, as Thala is truly blazing in the trailer.

The trailer throws light on David Billa's journey from being an ordinary man, who arrives to India to get a better life from Sri Lanka, to a dreaded underworld don. It gives hint about the gangster's early days in the coastal region, his entry to the world of criminals, his first brush with the law, his struggle to rule the underworld and his utter domination over the crime activities.

It also shows Ajith Kumar mouthing some punch dialogues and being part of hair-rising action sequences. Yuva Shankar Raja's background score blends well with the scenes and sets the right mood to enjoy the trailer. Meenakshi Dixit, Vidyut Jamal and others are also seen in the trailer. All in all, it is a treat for the Thala fans.

Mysskin's Mugamoodi Trailer

The trailer of Mysskin's Mugamoodi, which is credited as the first big budget superhero flick in Tamil. Jiiva and Pooja Hegde plays the lead role while Narain is the baddie. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and is likely to hit screens in August.

Simbu's Vaalu Trailer - A Diwali cracker in making

Silambarasan's upcoming film Vaalu can be billed as a rib-tickling entertainer. The trailer of the film, which was released yesterday, has proved that the film is a complete comedy entertainer.

The one-minute video shows Silambarsan mouthing comedy dialogues and he is joined by his sidekick in the film Santhanam. Hansika Motwani will be seen in the trailer as Simbu's love interest. VTV Ganesh is also in the clipping, which clearly states that the film is a Diwali cracker.



Vaalu is directed by newcomer Vijay Chandar, the former associate of director Amma Rajasekhar, and it is produced by SS Chakravarthy on the banner Nick Arts Chakravarthy. While Shakti has handled the camera, S Thaman has scored the music.

Vishwaroopam (2012) Official Tamil Trailer

Kamal Hassan's much awaited tri lingual movie Vishwaroopam's first trailer has released at the 13th IIFA event at Singapore.

Vishwaroopam is an upcoming Tamil spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan that features himself in the lead role. The film, also has Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles. The soundtrack is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, with lyrics by Vairamuthu. The film is being made simultaneously in Hindi as Vishwaroop.

Development of the project commenced after the release of Kamal's Manmadhan Ambu, and several of the crew were imported from Hollywood. The direction department was taken over by Kamal Haasan from Selvaraghavan, and reports indicating a comparison with Hollywood films surfaced during the production. The initially estimated budget was around INR150 crore (US$29.93 million), making it one of the most expensive Indian films. Due to delays, casting took a relatively long period of time, after Sonakshi Sinha dropped out of the project. The film was shot extensively overseas, in countries including the United States and Canada, while domestic locations included Mumbai and Chennai.
