John Cena, Stone Cold in Kollywood?

This might be the craziest news for all the fans of World Wrestling Entertainment. Two of its most loved stars John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin might soon be seen in a Tamil movie!

The two superstars are said to be in talks with the team of Aascar Ravichandran's Boologam, which stars Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead. It is said that the two wrestling stars will be required for a scene where they will fight against Jayam Ravi.

Meanwhile, we do know that Jayam Ravi is playing a boxer in the film and has already undergone training in boxing for many months in preparation for the film. The question now remains on how the two wrestlers will fit into a film that is about boxing.

But, this is not the first time that WWE stars have been seen in an Indian film. People like Crush and Undertaker have been part of Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, which starred Akshay Kumar. Indian wrestling superstar Khali too has become a popular face on films and small screen in the recent years. Now, it remains to see if any of these wrestlers will indeed make it to Kodambakkam to act in a Tamil film!

Jayam Ravi's Nimirndhu Nil takes off

Jayam Ravi's forthcoming movie Nimirndhu Nil was formally launched today (July 5) at AVM Studio in Chennai. The function was attended by many notable names of Kollywood like Rajesh M, Udhayanidhi Stalin, Venkat Prabhu, Lingusamy, Dhananjayan Govind and others.

Sharing his excitement, Jayam Ravi tweeted, "Puja was Grt!Thnx 2 my colleagues 4 bein thr. Canning few shots now, Already likin the feel of this film:)Let's rock kani Na!," The actor also thanked a few guests, who attended the muhurat, on Twitter.

"Can't believe Kani Anna made me say 'action' for the first shot!!! Thank q team Nimirndhu Nil and moreover Mankatha Pooja and first shoot happened at the same floor as Nimirndhu Nil!! All da best machi." Wrote Venkat Prabhu after gracing the occasion.

UTV Dhananjayan praised the looks of Jayam Ravi in Nimirndhu Nil and tweeted, "You are looking fantastic  & handsome in all stills sir. All the best to you & Kani sir."

Nimirndhu Nil is a high-voltage action film starring Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul in the leads. It is directed by Samuthirakani and produced by KS Sreenivasan. The movie has GV Prakash Kumar's music.
